diff ratios

hey can anyone give me the heads up on diff vs gearbox ratios? just picked up a brumby for parts, the diff is marked 3.9 but its only a 4 spd dual range ... for some reason thought the 4 spd dual range box only ran 3.7 in these models?

They actually ran both ratios across the years, dont know which ones.
Same for L-Series.

Yes 3.7 was for the LSD on L Series. Some people have been known to change them to 3.9 from 3.7
