okay, so, i got the welder, i got the ability, ive had welded diffs before but never opened one up to look inside, now i want to weld up a couple more. One for the brumby, and one for subi...

so does anyone have a photo or detailed description of where i have to weld? and can it be done by just removing the cover or do i have to dismantle the whole centre?

Clean the spider gears well first. I'd recommend first removing the centre so you can work on it on a bench. Then clean the spider gears with spirits or petrol to get rid of any traces of diff oil. Once that's evaporated then weld up the spider gears and make sure the ring gear doesn't cop any spatter.

which ones are the spider gears? is that the one which either has the 37 or 39 teeth? or the ones that mesh onto that?

When Brett did mine we stuck it in a vice cover up, pulled the cover off. welded it with the oil in there. tipped out the oil and filled it back up.
