4EAT mounts..

Post by Chris_Rogers » Sat Mar 24, 2007 6:41 pm

how many different versions are there of these things.

the one I have has a left/centre/right mount. need one that is one piece with two holes centred on the middle of the X member.
any idea where I can find it?

89 fwd sedan. the xmemember will bolt to a 3at 4wd (did it at the yard.)

crawled under a few later liberty wagons and they looked different. rear output area looked the same but these looked one piece from below.

if I use the xmember I have the mounts sit off the flat area. (yet to look at mount holes.)

looking for an easy option here.

the 3at x members and mounts i've got are 3 pieces like the tt mounts but not the same.from what i've heard if you grab the wrx or tt mounts ,you can add some plate to the original l xmember and reddrill the holes.I've fabbed up a complete new x member but it wouldn't fit in with your theme.Still reckon i could get a l or x member and tt or wrx mounts to work if needed.

ok that makes sense. there was a RS version there sans engine so I'll look at that one.
rest of it is fine the Xmember lines up with the box so its just a bit of fiddling now.

wouldnt mind crawling under yours at some stage as well.
