MY gearbox rubber mounts

just lettin you all know that these are available new from subaru. although a bit pricey at $53 each side

(were u the winner of that Ally Bullbar on ebay which ended today? i think u were lol if so good pickup nice and cheap.)
neway are the Mounts not available aftermarket? from Veales or Coventrys? maybe
$53 is ridiculous for how small they are lol

i have some here they were on my brumby didnt think they were all that bad since ur sellin it

NOT MY..but just found one of my L 4WD auto mounts is not stuffed but has parted on the bond , rubber to steel, and is in the vice with black silastic curing, hoping it will do for the time being. Never tried this before on mounts but given the resistance to parting silicone bonded stuff before I thought I'd give it a shot - at least to pass rego inspection.

i had a bucket load of L auto ones they all fail like that.Contact adhesive and a piece heavy rubber fixed em.

They have come down in price i had to buy some a few years ago and they where $75 ea then and the only place that had em was Subaru

I phoned Ipswich Subaru two weeks ago and got quoted $77
each.
That's far too expensive and was the deciding factor to fit Trevor Bell's gearbox mounts. I did a heap of off-roading over the past two days and these mounts work very well. There's now bugger all slack in the gearbox and the Brumby felt solid over rutted and rocky terrain.
'twas a wonderful feeling after having driven with broken mounts in the past.
