5MT EJ gearbox diff ratio questions

What EJ 5spds came in 4.11 or 4.44 ratio if any?
What 5spd WRX gearboxes have the 1.1:1 reduction for the rear output if not all?
Is the WRX centre diff tighter then the standard ones? Are all 5MT EJ centre diffs interchangeable? And is there other choices of LSD types for the centre diff then just the VLSD?
As you might of seen, this is for manuals only, not autos. Just to clarify. Thanks.

My 1999 Outback (manual) came with 4.111
I don't have any answers for your other questions

This is a broad generalisation, but a rough answer to your questions:
Most aus delivered turbo boxes are 3.9 with the reduction center coupling so a 3.545 rear diff.
most JDM boxes are 4.11
GTB / STI JDM boxes are generally 4.44
The first DCCD (Driver controlled center diff) boxes were 5 speed. These have an electronically controlled center diff similar to the VTD autos. They are exxy though. the only other factory option is the VLSD center
you can get tighter viscous centers, standard NA is 4kg, import turbos are 8kg and I have heard of some of the rally guys running 20kg centers.
plenty of guys on the rs liberty club will have more accurate info on this than me. im an auto guy

You can buy aftermarkt VLSD and Clutch type LSD's to replace the factory centre. I think there is even a torsen that will.
Likewise with the front diff. The front diff of a any EJ up to i think 04 will fit in the l series 5sp case.

There were some front/center LSDs on ebay recently.

Yeah, I was just thinking what would be the best setup for decent offroad with a EJ gearbox. I think I'll give the front LSD a miss, but that harder centre LSD sounds good.
Any idea on where to look for a tighter centre LSD?
Now I just have to find out what ratio diff will work with the 1.59 low range..
