Starter Motors?

Would my Liberty Starter Motor fit in my 4speeds bellhousing and run the MY Flywheel?
just wanting to know if any1 can tell me before i pull em out tomorrow to try em out.

just had a quick look at the Lib one it dont seem to have the same gear on it to what i remember of the MY one

tried putting an ej starter on a L series box never gonna fit..im assuming its the same for 4 spd

damn now i need another one..
any chance a 5 speed Lseries will fit? basically same flywheel isnt it

seem to remember Subarino is runnign a 4speed one and ehs got a 5speed box.
or maybe his was from an auto or something stupid.

Mines a reduction drive one... more commonly found on Autos.
And yes L series and MY starter motors are the same.

i was thinkin auto and culdnt remember wt it was called (reduction drive part)
any chance uve got a spare? or someone i cna grab it off tomorrow??

Pretty sure I have an my starter motor in the shed , will have a look this morning.

probly want to no the reason i ask neway.
last night had a few of my parents friends over and i have the only 4WD so we were given it heaps around my block.
let me bro in for a drive he gets around some of the block then stalls it
lol
wuldnt start...battery lost all its charge and culdnt run the Fan or Fuel pump properly...tred a jumper pack but still wuldnt turn over.
Starter was absolutely red hot to touch bro reckons its Dead as it happened to him once.
me thinks its stupid that it only happens when hot and i shuld get a new battery.
first thought it was alternator not chargin but that all tested fine.
so now may chuck a new starter and a new Battery in.
but i dont want a starter which i cant use if i go 5 speed.
