Guys,
I am embarking on a new project with 94 WRX MT 1/2 cut into a coupe. At the moment I am trying to track down some parts for the 94 WRX. I need a 4.111 rear diff but are unsure as too what type was fitted to the WRX's. Any help with this and the difference if any between LSD and open. Mainly in the way they would behave and handle on the road.

Regards Darryl

I will be posting a thread on this when I return with the car in a couple of weeks(another ebay purchase)

R160 VLSD... for ease of fitment try and find one with male output stubs (some early Libertys had 4.11 VLSD's with male output stubs)

well you have a got a good deal them mate as it should well be a sedan front cut .Can you post up the gear box code from the name plate its on the strut tower .
That motor will go very hard , as its the early closed deck uint with a TD05H turbo , these are a very good combo .

I have got all the details from the ID plate.
VIN GC8-007269
MODEL GC8A48D
OPTION BG
ENGINE TYPE EJ20GDW1HE
TRANS TY752VB3AA
TURBO TD05H

Any further infomation on parts in the 1/2 cut would be appreciated. Apart from pulling the heads off is there any other way to find out whether it is a closed deck?
