I am getting a new radiator for my L tomorro and i wanna make sure i can get as much airflow as possiable.

I currently have the stock subaru electric A/C fan and a 10" Calibre electric fan (from supercheap) both running off the factory thermoswitch.

Is the factory A/C fan better than say a 12" aftermarket fan?

Is there gonna be much difference between a "Calibre" supercheap electric fan and a expencive Davis Craig electric fan?

Cheers

also look at euro fans. the 12" ones I have (w203 benz) move a LOT of air. if you can fit a bigger one then a E36 bmw item (16" ) really moves air.

I dont think theres any huge difference between my davies craig 12'" & the factory one in terms of air flow

i reckon theres a bit of difference to my 12" calibre and my 10" davies craig. id def buy another davies one again and get the largest fans ya can, specially if its a turbo or ej - two 12"s should fit.

If you are handy you can adapt the small fan from a Liberty to fit infront of the power steering pump. I have one on my RX as they do move a real lot of air

One of the best thermos around are probly the twin system off a post EL falcon as they use two big thermo fans. One of on my mates has them on a supercharged V8 5 litre holden.
