I am having a problem with my EA82T, it runs fine at low revs but if i give it a big plant it just dies, let of and it comes back but runs like crap. It comes good again and once again if i give it a hard boot it dies and kangaroos like mad. The next time i drive it and try it it goes fine not probs what so ever and others every time i get in the car it does it. I has done it a couple of times int he last 6 months but for the last 3/4 days its been all the time.... I am thinking electrical or fuel but as its not all the time i am stump as to where to start looking.Normaly when it dies if i flick the ignition off and back on it clears and pulls for a few seconds before it goes again. I can drive the car round under 3 grand fine but if i go over it plays up and runs like a dog down low to. its a standard set up right through and its always run on premium fuel.
Any idea would be most helpfull right now.

sounds like a few things could cause this, but talking from my experience with EA82T it sounds like a tiring fuel pump - but taking a long time to show itself though.. I borrowed a fuel pressure gauge and 'T' pieced it into my fuel line and taped the gauge to the windscreen to be viewed from inside. Stationary it would rev up and down fine, reading 36 psi, but drive it and watch the gauge as the turbo boost started and pressure dropped to 5 or 10 psi and engine would not wanna GO-O when I did. New fuel pump and filters fixed it.
A hint was that sometimes I needed to supply power directly to pump and bang it with a hammer to get it to start rattling before i could start the car
