Does anyone know of a place to buy a fly wheel and heads around the south east to eastern suburbs of Melb?, for a carby EA82 in my 94 L series wagon. I went to 2 wreckers down south gippsland hwy in Dandenong, one had fly wheels there but they are not sure if it fits mine(they didn't label them very well and they were trying to guess what i needed...dumb shits!) the other place had none. Is there a difference between the 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive clutch and fly wheel?

Try out Pick a part in Kilsyth or another joint called centre rd wreckers in springvale - both best picks out of my known wreckers for subarus and both are on your side of town.
Both wreckers mentioned have your L in the yard to pick bits off. It may be worth your while to just buy an engine, i know these cost about 180 at Pick a part. With it you get intake, alternator, starter motor (i think), dizzy and i'm not sure about the clutch and flywheel as we left it on our last motor purchase and it went through without a question. They almost seem to have a policy of $100 or more with big items and a hand full of small items will slide for nix (known to happen at pick a part on weekends with my expreinces)
4wd and 2wd flywheel/clutch combinations are different. The 2wd clutch is a lot smaller.
Good luck hunting!
Bennie.
PS also check the vic section for wreckers updates - add your own in too if you can.

Yeah I agree above. Don't forget its a pick a part yard which you need to bring your own tools to remove it from the car... another thing if the gearbox is still attached you'll need to separate from gearbox to remove the flywheel - these wreckers are cheap because you remove parts yourself otherwise over the counter types are expensive because they remove it for you.
