Gen 1; lo range light.

Post by Hoekl » Fri Nov 28, 2008 12:44 pm

Hey there, about a year ago, Sir Willy and I, changed over the d/r gearbox in my wagz. I used lo range the other day, but the 'lo' light on the dash doesn't light up anymore? Any ideas on how to check the wire/connector?
I've pulled apart the centre console, but I cant see any switch or anything?!
I've had a look in the service manual, but I can't find it.
Any wise words?

The switch is on top right of the gearbox (drivers side where the tunnel is) and there is an connector that goes to the loom under the throttle body.

Sometimes, on the dash there is no light globe there (my Gen2 Lib Sedan was single range AWD later converted to D/R AWD and had to put the globe in and it worked)
