Post by baitman » Wed Jan 26, 2011 8:03 pm

while i was fitting my lift kit i was under the car trying to get the steering extension splines to line up i turned the steering wheel side probably 3 revolutions without relising i was distroying the clock spring under the airbag it takes the wiring for the airbag, horn and cruise control. if the steering wheel is rotated more than 3 times you destroy it DO NOT DO WHAT DID. im trying to re solder it but i think ill trawl the wreckers instead

Ouch, see if the one out of a WRX will fit, plenty of them floating around, look on Rexnet & other Subi forums as the wreckers will rip you a new arsehole.
