Headlights Wiring Upgrade

Post by NachaLuva » Wed Sep 21, 2011 11:40 pm

Ok it took me a while but i think i've come up with a decent headlights wiring upgrade diagram. I thought i would post it so 1: i can correct any mistakes, & 2: it might be able to help others who are bamboozled by Subarus "positive switching" like i was.

I would appreciate if people can tell me if i've gone wrong anywhere, or if there are any improvements to be made.

PS: thanks to Gannon who posted a diagram that really helped me :)

Yeah it looks like it should work. You've done well.

Be sure to post some pics of your loom before you put it in.

Woohoo it works!!! :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Not that i ever doubted it...much. lol :confused:

ran out of eye crimp connectors for couple of earths & shops were closed so have to redo 1. When i was wrapping up loom in tape wrongly positioned a cpl of wires but not so badly i had to redo it, it just looks bit funny.

But overall it fits in ok...& it works! Very relieved lol

yep took fotos of loom before i put it in but was dark by time i finished so i'll take fotos of the installed loom tomoro, post em then

Yep, any auxiliary lights, so spotlights, driving lights, fog lights. Fog lights can be wired so they come on with headlights on high or low beam, but any type of driving lights must be wired high beam only
