P1570 Immobilzer fault

Post by bullifamilie » Sat May 11, 2013 3:37 pm

I'm trying to start an 2000 EJ25 in my Volkswagen.

I'm getting P1570 Antenna fault. Diagnostics are pointing towards the immobiliser control unit but I'm not convinced.
It colud be wiring but I've checked that lots of times.

Anybody got any ideas? Does anyone know how to bypass the subi immobiliser?

Anybody got spares for a 2000 EJ25 immobiliser?

Desperately keen to get this engine started

Rereshed after a cup of tea and a custard cream;

Realised the fuel pump was wired backwards and not pumping.

Finally it runs

yeah, I've been meaning to make a thread. I'll try and post some stuff over the next week.

Run the engine several times and had it up to temperature, all seems good.

Still getting the P1570 Antenna fault occassionally as I tidy the wiring. Hoping I've got a dodgy connection somewhere
