handy little screamer for projects

For those that may be making up something electronic/electrical that uses a buzzer alert - I found jaycar at least do a neat piezo screamer that has a choice of either full continuous tone or intermittent, depending on which of the two wires used for pos hook up. White, plastic, about 45m dia, 20mm high.
A constant beep from it when it notify mode is a lot easier on the heart, not so ear piercing as the constant tone choice ! Leaves concentration for driving rather than the pucken noise

its # at jaycar is AB 3456.

I've used it with my ebay sourced temperature "controller" which seem to have hit a low of about 14 bucks posted. With this and a few other bits I have managed to make a cheapy version of a watchdog TM4 worth about $165. Add in a relay and I will have my rad fans cut in at the presettable temp using engine metal temp as the alert not the radiator water temp. Not sure which location is best ?
