Dave (Subarino) brought some before I got over to his place and whilst we were playing around with his Forester I decided to give his headlights a go with this stuff :shock::shock::shock: and f**k me drunk this sh*t worked like magic. Dave is going to tell his missus that he just brought new headlights and with the extra money he saved he'll be able to buy more beer :D
Your welcome.

For glass we used to just use metho and steel wool and one of the safest best things we tried, But plastic be wary with what you use. There were also chemicals you could use on the inside too that did the reflectors as well!

That PlastX worked out great... i was very very close to buying new head lights a few weeks back thinking they were too faded. But they look great now. Again the board has saved me some coin.

Thanks again
Dave

I could see the different straight away but like AP says.. I'd use it everytime you wash it. I'm going to try it on my SVX (which somone replaced with JDM ones after a smash :( )

The frosty appearance is millions of tiny holes which develope in the crappy cheap plastic lens. A lot of those cleaners sold on ebay etc are simply almond oil you can buy for a few bucks from your local chemist. It fills the minute holes but after a while wears off and has to be done again.
I would never go near them with steel wool, and would be very wary of using it on glass as well.
however if it works for you..same as wet and dry..

Has Dave taken up drinking  That's news to me!!!

Glad something like this has worked. I've found that my head lights have a plastic cover over them. I've been meaning to remove this cover after getting back from our perth road trip in 2007 but havn't done it yet. Apparently this cover is done by tinting places to protect the lenses from stone chips etc. It must work as one of my spotties is just about cactus from stone chips yet both of my standard lights are still fine. Hopefully it stays that way!

Cheers
