Post by ol kid » Mon Jul 21, 2008 12:45 pm

G'day all again,

My brothers lib has got Cruise control but it no workies. The fuses were pulled out and I am not sure where the box for it is, Thats if it has one.

I Put A 10 amp fuse in it and now the Light comes on when you push the button. Also it clicks above the glove box the button is pressed in. Im not sure whats happening? Any help would be great thanks.

Cheers Ethan

What year Liberty is it?
Its O.E cruise?
So it didn't have a fuse in it, you put one in, and the switch lights up and the (assuming) relay clicks on/off?

Is the check engine light on, or does the cruise control bulb flash?

Its a '93 ej22 Wagon. Cruise was standard, But i believe that the control bit thats under the bonnet has been removed.

No check engine light and the Cruise button light comes on in an orange color.

Check the plugs under the horn pad on the wheel,
my Lib had the horn and cruise disconnected in the wheel, reconnected them and they both work!
