Can anyone recommend any fog lights for me?

Any particular model you've used and been please with? Price is not a factor and happy to buy online. Looking for spread more than depth.

Personally I wouldn't bother with fog lights. Our conditions in Australia are not foggy enough of the time to warrant putting fog lights on your subi IMO. Get another set of driving lights

If you're still keen for a set, you'll want a set of yellow spreaders usually found in the retangular shape. Go for something cheap, I'll bet you won't use them much! Mount them low too, they're designed to get under the fog and not reflect as much light back as a white light would.

get a set of spots..lightforce 170s. Theyre adjustable from spread to pencil by spinning the lense around. Ive got a set of them on my liberty, one with pencil and one with spread and a combo lense on it(creates a very wide line)

some of the best lights ive seen. I cant recommend them highly enough.

you can get different lenses for them also, yellow, blue, red bla bla bla. Keep a set of yellow lenses in the boot for the extra foggy days and a set of light blue or clears for everyday use. Getting the best of both worlds.

I have narva ultima 160/115 on my outback with bulbs upgraded with a hid conversion kit from ebay (about $50) and the result is very, very bright and only 35w power usage.
These can be bought as a fog light as well.

I get to use mine every morning! But ive just used the standard outback ones slightly modified as with the headlights!

'Slightly modified' - ahem? Please explain!

I've had a couple of times, mostly driving very early missions to the snow or rivers during winter/spring, where I wished I'd had fog lights so figure might as well!

yeah i want a set for the rally car
had 4 spots on the other night during the rally
and it rained, had to stop, pull over deep into the trees adn could keep going
it was ridiculous

i would not really bother with fog lights, concidering that they are highly illegal (in wa anyway) dont know about rest of the state, but i have been pulled over many of times and threatened with a $200 dollar fine, you are only permited to have them on if it is alot of fog and you can not have your head lights on, just park lights and fog lights.

Technically they're illegal over here when used in non-foggy conditions, but everyone who has them use them like a driving light

After saying in my last post above that the time you'll spend in fog (very little) would not be worth having the lights, I'm now considering getting a set to operate off my parkers - because I'm about to move to the snow and will most likely be driving from Mt Hotham to Dinner plain 5 days a week... Should be fun!

yeh. they bnd you aswell, which is another bad thing. as for what you are going to be using them for, i recon that would be the best option. by the way. have fun mate. could not see my self doing it. maybe for a reallyyyyy good cause. haha
