2007 Impreza 2.0i Headlight Problem

Post by stuffandthat » Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:39 am

My left headlight seems to blow the globe every couple of months. On two occasions the left globe blew and right was fine but the right wouldn't turn on either. Now this morning the left globe has blown again but the right is still on. None of the parkers or the highbeams are affected. Is this a common problem with this model? Any ideas or suggestions?

Not sure why they are continuously blowing but I'd say if you feel it's going to carry on this way and it was my car, I'd look at buying a HID convertion kit.. sure be a lot cheaper in the long run and they are much better lights.

BTW.. Hi and Welcome :)

Cheers,
Paul

Do you leave the lights on all the time? And start the car with them on aswell?

As above, i'd get a HID kit.
I put a set in my wife's 2.0R and they are actually pretty good in the stock housings as they already have a reflector type set-up in them.
