ej20 strange electrical problem

After doing all the gaskets on my 97' ej20 and putting it back into my L-series, everything ran fine until yesterday.
I was looking around in the engine bay while it was idling and must of touched a wire (they are all over the place in the engine bay
and the car shut off as if the key was turned back to ACC.
After this the car wouldn't start (cranks as usual though), and in IGN the thermo fans or the fuel pump don't turn on.
What would cause this, I'm far from an electrics expert or anything so I don't really know where to start looking so any pointers will help me alot.
