I need a "1.25" (Amp?) fusible link
Where do I find one?
I need one and I'd like to buy (or make ) at least two so I have a spare.
I went to Auto One and Repco.
Guys there reckoned that I'd have to get it from Subaru,
and even they might not have them.
thought my battery was stuffed, but when I wiggled a fusible link my power came back.

1.25 is cross sectional area, not a current rating. Match the colour of your old wire to the casing colour of the new fusible links.
Dane.

Just chucked a black one out with a few L Series FL cases. It had already had a rather hefty solder repair job (about 3.5mm square) wrapped in cloth "100 mile an hour tape" - for good measure i suppose.
Very clever of you to even think of the FL. Caused me no end of trouble twice now with 23 year old Subes
