Guys.. help

Was doing a simple globe change when pop ting ting ting, there goes my spring and heres the reason why. Normally theres a little screw that goes into the blown out hole with the screw head holding the spring in place.

What are my options? Im thinking remove the headlight and drill a pilot hole through the backside then run a longer screw right through with a big washer to hold the spring in the groove.

Duct tape + more duct tape until you can get a replacement part. I've done this on a few vehicles now...
