Hi,
I am chasing an ECU pin out/wiring diagram for a 2005 Impreza RS EJ25 sohc.
From the searching I have done, i can only find diagrams for overseas model vehicles.
My ECU is a 3 plug. the 2005 diagrams i have found show 4 plugs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Yep I've run into the same problem.
Closest I can find is this for the 2001 Outback

not sure if that will help you.

Have you tried pdftown.com?
I just tried and the site isnt responding.
There is a good chance that a 2005 or 2006 Forester might share a very similar ECU
What is the reason you are seeking a wiring diagram?

Thanks Toonga, will check that out.
Gannon, I havnt had a look at pdftown, also isnt working for me right now. Will keep trying it.
I have a ej25 here to go into the ute.
Managed to strip most of the loom based on similar wiring diagrams.
There are still a number of ecu wires that i would like to know what they are and some i may still need.
Also, is there a way to bypass the security module / key as i dont have these to suit the ecu? if not i will have to source an ecu/module/key that all have the same code, correct?

Not a problem, sadly you will need the security stuff that came with the ECU to get it to work.
Could be cheaper to go to an aftermarket ECU to get it to run.

yes aftermarket ECU is another option.
Unfortunately i didnt do enough research when buying this engine. was a bit of an impulse buy.
will search around see if i can get a matching ecu key and module.
suppose i cant expect these projects to go smoothly haha.
Cheers,

I think its just the key and immobiliser module that need to match, I pretty sure the ECU should be right.
You will find that there are about 3 - 6 wires that wont connect to anything, sometimes there are wires that are come out of the ecu plugs that arent even in the wiring diagrams/pin outs.

Really? Be great if it was. Can anyone confirm this?
I have most of the wiring sorted, ill get onto this immobiliser module and see if she starts.
