92 L series heater fan failed.

Post by RubysueEA82 » Sun Nov 06, 2016 6:36 pm

Kind Sirs,

Has anyone got a wiring diagram they can refer me to for an Oct 91 build wagon?

It's blown the two heater fuses in the dash (I assume they're in parallel) but replacing them hasn't rectified the situation. I'd like to understand the circuit before I tear much more apart so if anyone has some information that'd be much appreciated

Cheers

Anthony

There's a coil piece in an air duct that's used as a resistor for the different fan speeds. It's just after the fan IIRC.

One of these might be toast or there's a dead short in the fan or switch. You'll need to remove the passenger's side kick panel to access this area if you've got one.

All the best with it.

Cheers
