05 legacy headlights not fitting with 05 outback headlights

Ive had these headlights for a year or three now as i planned to replace my stock and faded ones with them but had dramas fitting them.
The aftermarket ones are: DECO 320-1113(L or R)-AS2
What i assumed was that there may have been a slight difference between US models and AUS models
Or is it that there is a difference between liberty and outback headlights?
Im just trying to work it out so that i can finally move these on out of my hands and know that they will fit the car for whoever needs them.
Here is some photos of the headlights which show the difference i have found. The plastic tab (20791) is needed for a metal bar to mount to which supports the light from underneath.
The only other diffrence i have found in the lights is that mine have clear indicator lenses and the new ones are yellow. Ill let the pictures do the explaining.
