Spotlights

Post by Tuckerman » Tue Jul 11, 2006 11:57 am

I am full of questions lately (not purposely flooding the forum). I am thinking about setting up a couple of spotties on the front of the 1990 GX Wagon. I recently purchase one of this cheap number plate holder replacement things with the mini bar on them for mounting spotties, only to realise after that the wagon doesn't really have the recessed spot for the number plate in the bumper and it really wasnt going to fit.

What I want to know is what is the easiest and most cost effective way to mount some spotties on the GX Wagon. I don't really want a big bull bar, but would be keen to purchase a mini bar if there was one that was quick and easy to bolt up ?

Anyone have any suggestions and or photos of their installs ? Thanks

That would be great. It just seemed that if I a mount it on the bracket that is already holding the number plate on it sits way to far back under the bonnet and wouldn't be able to mount the spotties. It doesn't have a recess in the bumper being an older car.

Where did you get your little bar and what brand is it ?

It's not for an L Series. It's a 1990 GX Liberty Wagon
