Altenator EJ conversion, I'm lost

Post by subarursliberty » Sun Jul 01, 2007 5:23 pm

Well I'm lost guys with this one. I'm doing the EJ20T conversion on my Leone. Basically I'm lost as to what to do with the alt part of things so I can finish my new power box. I don't know what to patch into what and what extra I have for the EFi stuff. The harness I pinch the wiring from is off an auto legacy. It has 1 additional wire coming off it than what my RS has so i think I can just cut this one and be done with it but the rest well god knows. HELP

Have a read of thisshowthread.php?t=4260 it'll help you wire a alt in.I used a late alt on a early loom[ej]which was then spliced into the L fuseable link box and battery .I think i had one heavy white wire left over. Also make sure you get the right plug for the alt makes life a lot easier.
