Light bar removed

Removed the light bar and moved all four lights upstairs.
Winch fits better now without hitting up against the bar.
Now all we need is a bit of re-wiring, a couple of welds and that 2" lift kit that should be on it's way!
Guess I just need to relax and get the wiring done first.
The welds will wait until the lift is in and then it'll be one heck of a summer!

i want to know more aobut this tow point / winch mounting point behind your bumper bar!! i need one...STAT!

You must have in mind some extreme trip for all that gear...will be interesting to see what it is....
sure would like some details on how you went about that front hitch point, how you make it strong enough etc.......
Lights up top look good, probably safer,barring a rollover, but how much reflection off bonnet? Getting decent wiring up to the top must have been an issue though?
Have you done anything to upgrade your suspension? you've added alot of weight, ah yes the raised kings, but still I think you got a lot of weight on it plus gear etc...
Whats that dome thing on the roof, just out in front of the lights?

What model snorkel is that, and what mods did you need to do to make it fit? More info on that pls.

It's a Safari Snorkel for a Toyota Prado 120. Removed the airbox, added a custom piece of connector tubing to tie in the MAF and made a two stage filter at the top of the snorkel from a fine mesh pre-filter and 3M coarse grain padding. The filter setup works remarkably well and the car seems to have a bit more power without the restriction of the stock airbox and panel filter.
Will need to craft a temporary duty inline filter for use when I have the pre-filter installed for really dusty conditions.
