As a few of you may know im converting my L to a turbo motor. I was thinking about pulling the heads off the motor and port n polish them, if its worth my time. dose anybody know what would be the be the best mods to be done as i heard they flow terrible. its an ea82t motor. cheers jarod

Exhaust ports are not brilliant but can be opened up a reasonable amount .
One of each pair of inlet ports has a hump for the bulky hydraulic lifters these dinosaurs have .
There are pictures of a sectioned ER27 head on one of the US boards (USMB) shows how far you can port these heads .

I think the agricultural inlet manifold holds them back a bit too .
