Transfer Engineers Cert/rego from NSW to WA

I have recently moved from NSW to WA with two Cars (one is my brumby) which have engineers certs for regarding ej20t drive line etc in the brumby and my old Girl (EH with disc brake and ball joint front end conversion etc)

Not sure if i have to go and see another engineer.

Anybody else had experience with this

Engineer? Ha.

Get the cars looking neat, book in at your local Transport Dept inspection station, hand over a stack of cash (don't count on using eftpos), and walk out with WA number plates.

Take any NSW approvals paperwork you have - can't hurt to have it for the slim chance that the inspector raises an eyebrow.

Damn three cars means they will all be due at the same time still is cheaper then nsw rego anyway

You can do it for 6 or 12 months so split it.

You don't have to transfer them all at once. Well, officially you're meant to do it within 3 months or something, but you souldn't be the first person to wait until your old rego expires.

the subi should be alright but any modifications to brakes will need an engineers certificate. ring your friendly RTA station and discuss. if you ask nicely they will post you a list of engineers they are familiar with, they do NOT recommend any engineer (for obvious reasons) but are happy to assist.
last time I checked they would not accept eastern states engineers report but that was a few years ago, they may have changed that by now.

I can tell you that NSW have a list of approved signatories that they will accept certificates from ...and no other, unless you point out to them the final sentence of rule 302 that some circumstances may be considered. WA may have something similar and it may help to actually view their rules in writing. You'd reckon that you being armed with those certificates on inspection should help. I think NSW have rather strict rules to be observed as far as engineering certs when compared to other states. Also, if you have not taken all vehicles to WA just yet, no need to register all at same time. You could have left at least one back home until Xmas, nod, nod,
