V8 into Brumby? can it be done?

Post by Green_eyed_liberty » Thu Aug 26, 2010 3:07 pm

it might just be the American fumes, but what about planting a small v8 or v6 engine in the brumby and using a subaru 5speed? a small one should fit between the rails, and all the normal conversion bits like crossmember, mounts, adaptorplate, fuel system

if a carbied engine then would use simular sensors to the EA81 yeh? (water temp, oil pressure)

it should have plenty of low-down torque, and an 8 do sound pretty cool.

not putting this into practice. just been hanging on my mind since hanging out with these yanks and there v8 love. :-D
