That's quite a bit! But I guess if you're doing it right it's going to cost some good coin!

Cheers

$600 with bolts isn't too bad for full recon.. remember this is WA were we are having a "Mining Boom" LOL
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Engine is now back in

New timing belt/waterpump/idlers
Recon heads
New gaskets all round

Need to make up a custom exhaust, but shes running now :)
Sounds/looks 10x better than before.

Took it for a quick test drive and drove pretty well.

So todo list is now:

Custom intake piping
Custom exhaust
Replace front bar with something else
KYB All round suspension + springs ( for outback )
Get water to air intercooler working
(prob more stuff )

Shes getting close to going for some offroad action :)

Oil all up in there!, and i picked up on it because it was running rough.

Compression was lowish aswell. :(

Was thinking of rebuilding it, but i will rebuild the engine at some stage, i got another shell to put it in.

How did it happen? My fault for buying a Fcked engine lol....
