VF8 Liberty turbo on L series ea82T

Post by Radeon » Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:00 pm

Hi. Im thinking of doing this conversion (as per title) and was wondering how the engine will be affected and if it will run properly with the bigger turbo. Such questions i have include: will the air/fuel mix still be right with the increased boost? Will it run lean/rich/just right? Are the injectors big enough? and will the computer be affected?
The other option i have would be to simply increase the boost on the original turbo, which is the best way to go here?
Any answers to these questions on mine would be great, thanks. I will be putting an air/water intercooler on it as well if this changes anything.
I understand increasing the boost on the old ea82 is bad but just having a VF8 on it would be really cool!!

The VF8 is a laggy turbo on an EJ20 so it will be even more so on a 1800 i would go the VF10 as i am doing very soon anyway or a TD04.
