You young punks of today wont listen

Post by steve_rising_sun » Mon Jan 01, 2007 7:19 pm

I kept telling number 2 son "Keep it stock, keep it stock" but no he wouldn't listen.
One Brumby being fitted with a EG33 and 4 speed AWD auto, the brakes/ suspension are Liberty using Bratgeebars kits. These kits are first class, the machining is beautiful. This is Daniels car and as fruit of my loins, this is his first conversion. Anyone contemplating a power upgrade should invest in these kits they are worth every cent.
I will keep you posted

I suppose the subframe doesn't need modification because the cam covers sit that far forward :)

I suppose it will go just as good as your old Liberty did Steve. Nice stuff!

The engine just fits in without spreading the frame, sadly the front member now rests in the steel bin. This little car should be a whole lot lighter that the big fat Liberty wagon.

Oh bloody oath it would be!

Anyway - Would it be lot cooler for the engine if you could source a bigger radiator (maybe from Commodore?) and fit it in the back?

wow I love the detachable front grill hiding the alternator and PS pump!
With those Lib brakes and massive engine in front of a Brumby you'd want to think twice about pulling up hard on the tarmac. I can forsee a nose stand!

so exactly where and how are you planning to mount the radiator and get sufficient air flow through it???

there will be a conversion on the cards for my brumby towards the end of this year and if yours prove's successful i may take the same path
