The stock RX pump will work, but will have trouble keeping up when you are really flogging it hard.
Ultimate affordable setup is a small surge tank + a VL Turbo pump (Commodore).

If you have the Rx tank you will not need a surge tank as the EFI tanks had swill pot.

Interested to what box you will be using behind the EJ20? What is a 1/2 cut for one of these worth now?

Actually. the Ej20 and tranny are coming from a Legacy Turbo (Canadian car).

My buddy had a Legacy turbo, which was stock with a 2.2L SOHC motor. When that started getting run down (around 230,000 km) he threw a JDM EJ20 into it.

So..i'm using the JDM Ej20, Legacy Turbo Tranny, and Legacy Turbo 3.9 VLSD.

Yes the Bosch 400hp pump is the go. Think the model is BS-FP040.

Never heard of that part number Muddy. Would be interested to hear where it came from...

Looking at my Bosch Motorsport catalogue I can tell you the one most people normally use is the 0580 464 070. This is commonly known as the "VL pump"

My ass . . .

Actually it was the number (or one very similar) I got when I ordered mine. The 040 is stamped on the body of the pump.
