air-flow problems

Post by Soobidoo » Sun Mar 02, 2008 8:25 pm

hey guys, starting to think my air flow meter is dying, tryd to start car the other day and all it did was the injectors were going insane, when the car wasnt on, so yea, i pulled it out, give it a bit of a clean, and ta-da, works, but yea, was wondeirng if anyone has seen any on ebay or anywhere else that is for sale, our wreckers around here are crap, and only have stuff for normal cars. if anyone could give me a heads up that would be great.

p.s. was talkin to a mechanic and he said that sometimes its the filter that can cause alot of the pain, if they are oil filled, so heads up to anyone else, if u didnt already know. and he said to clean the meter with brake cleaner.

thanks, Tobez
