Just wondering if anyone knows if the standard fuel pump for the EA82 carby will be ok with a weber carby?

I would be very suprised if it wasn't up to it, but if you try it and it doesn't work it may be getting tired anyway, so a new one may not be out of the question.
I have not heard of anyone needing to change the fuel pump to feed a weber, maybe others have on a suby. I have not got one on mine yet, but have had a couple on other cars without any such problems.
If you do have dramas, dont forget to check your fuel filter and the needle and seat in the carby.

Lots of Ks,A/C, MP3 sometimes(if its not dark) singing steering wheel cover which I listen too when its dark.

you may have issues with the fuel pressure, as webers are only designed to handle ~3psi at the needle and seat. If your fuel pressure is too high then it will flood, so you may need a fuel pressure regulator to fix it.

Would be wise to add a fuel pressure regulator, especially for off road use.
Max fuel pressure from factory is only about 23 kpa or 3.3 psi.

The pump I am using on the ea81 came of a L series with a ea82 motor in it.

so should be ok.
