Cutting Chassis Rails. What's involved

The way Brumberty approached this would have to be the simplest, neatest and overall easiest way to do this. Ways I have seen this achieved in the past include BFHing it, cutting the rail out completely and a new box section being welded in. And a top cut made and then BFH'd with no welds. Brumberty's method would result in a very neat and no obvious changes made rail that would easily be made to pass any engineers requirements.

Whoah there Ben, I was working under specific and very accurate instructions from the BYB man himself.

It has worked a treat though.
I live near the sea and rust proofing is Vital to me for the long term; this WB was built for keeping.
Back to the frame rails, it took 2 3/4 hours with the correct instructions and tools.
Anyone who is going for it, please PM me and I will shoot you through some Hi res shots.

Hi Daniel, Its a DOHC EJ20...it needed a little more room than Fuji gave us.
No idea about H6's. Like em though.
