Standard EA82 and Forced Induction.

Hi all,
Few Q's about Forced Induction on a standard EA82. Not talking racing engine... just a small turbo/supercharger... something like my old Nissan ET/EXA's 5-7psi.
Will the internals hold up?
Can you leave the compression ratios alone?
Carby versions ok? (would have thought it an easier mod)
Just asking, as I have a couple of small turbo's from the nissan sitting in the shed and access to cheap supercharger from an older 4 cyl Toyota.
Only want that bit extra for passing cars and going up hills.
