Post by choinka » Sat Jan 21, 2006 9:15 pm

Was given a Momo type steering wheel. Does anyone know what boss kit would fit the L subies.

One to suit an L series will fit but if you get stuck you can use a Liberty one but you will have to modify the taper as the L series has a larger taper than the Liberty

I've said it before , if you are as cheap as me, just cut up the old steering wheel with a grinder and drill the appropriate holes to mount the new wheel.

boss kits

I didn't know there were Boss kits for L series. I thought they were only for more the popular cars or widely available cars.

Thanks for that. I'll look around for one - didn't want to make a home-brand looking wheel as insurance gets stroppy if you play around with the steering.

I don't know if a Saas one will fit in your application - but I bought one for my car. The Saas site doesnt seem to be going at the moment - so I have to go by memory. I think the model is BK-177L or something.

Got mine from Repco :)

there is a bosskit for the L series.

have read somewhere that with some modification, the 180B datsun listed item could be utilised also.

xtturbo could confirm this (although he hasnt signed on since the site's crash :()
