Brumby Custom Interior

I want to "modernise" the interior of a Brumby. Its runing an EJ25, manual, no dual range. I have the stock dash in, but no centre console, at all.
Has anyone tried to graft another more modern centre console into the vehicle, like a modern forester?

A few people have done this. Check out
85wrx's work. Brumbyrunner has also got one in his racer, although I'm sure the cut down wasn't as neat.
Other options also include the 6 guage dash that came in the GL-5's and some touring wagons of the MY range:
I got the above unit from a touring wagon, including the centre console - and power windows with some fiddling around...
Options are pretty much limitless depending on your budget, blood, sweat and tears

Bennie i only have the forester seats and impreza console but i have used the same dash as you only i have a turbo cluster

Yeh sorry Bennie it has got a turbo light and ECS light in the tacho and instead of the 4 gauges yours has it only has fuel and temp and where the oil and volts gauges are on yours it has oil light and charge light as well as exhaust temp and brake fluid lights . It also has an analogue clock not digital. I will post pics in a week or 2 when the interior is all complete. I am sidetracked at the moment doing other cars .
