Power Window conversion

Okay, I know its been on the board before, but since the site crashed.. well you all know the story there! :?

I have a lifted 94 Sportswagon with wind-up windows.(The Battlewagon)
I also have a retired 85 GL Touring wagon. (The Speedo Ghost)
My questions are:
..Would the Battlewagon have the wiring under the dash for a power window conversion from the Ghost?
.. Can I just swap the doors over? I haven't got the time or patience for pulling out mechanisms and windows.
If I can swap the doors, would this be a "plug and play" job?
Any advice is appreciated.. Thankz in advance fellas

Ok from my limited knowledge of L series I guess the following:

No the wiring is not there

Yes you can swap the doors

No it is not plug and play

Basically you need to provide fused power and ground to each switch so it can run the motors, not all that complex, just a little time consuming.

Okay, Thanks for that mate.
The "time consuming" is what will bring me undone. I'll put it on the backburner for a while.
