I was wondering if anyone has fitted WRX seats in an 01 Outback. Would they fit the existing rails, I guess the rails would be different due to floor pan.
I'm looking for a bit more latteral support but I need the quick lever recline as I throw a wheelchair in and out too many times in a day to use Recaro wind style.

You might be lucky and WRX ones might fit, if they dont, try some B4 seats, they are probably pretty close in support to WRX ones

I put early Liberty seats in my Impreza, bolted straight in.

WRX seat bolts straight in, might have to swap the buckle over thou.
I've got 2006 STi seats in my Outback, went straight in - then straight back out to swap the buckles over.
NOTE - 2006 and 2007 WRX and STi seats sit about 2" higher than earlier seats.
So if you want to sit up high, get 06+ seats
If you want to sit at the normal height, get pre-06 seats.
All the Impreza seats have height rachet adjustment jiggers too.

Thanks for the advice guys, doesnt get any better and clearer than that BobbyJimmy.
Still undecided if I should go something new like Sparco. The WRX ones look very wide ?

Get Version 3 or 4 WRX or STI seats, the ones with the small patch of red at the top, much narrower and more comfortable...........I've had both late and early and the 97-99 are the best.
