There is currently nothing wired to it , I assumed that the ecu would take oil and water readings...
If it is water, Is the sensor similar in resistance to the ea82, or should it be changed over?
I have also looked for an oil sensor or switch - (assuming it would be somewhere near the oil filter on the front of the engine).
I am assuming

a switch rather than a pressure unit. Can anyone confirm this please, as I will have to set up a light.
Also, the EA82 alternator has 3 wires in the original loom, a heavy black / white and the dash light from the plug , then the charge wire. The EJ20 alt has only 2 wires, the light and charge wire. Does the b/w wire get "charged" as well, as it seems to go to the fusable links - or is just disconnected. I believe there is no "exite circuit" on th EJ20 alternators.
Electrical in - so far so good, no smoke - ignition test in the morning
Just a few more wires to go, fan relays , air cond etc but looking good.
The Vortex has the wiper motor in the way of the TMIC

so looking at a motor / wiper gearbox extention to move it out of the way. A front mount IC would be nice, but just dont have the $ to do it properly at the moment.
Nearly there
