Looks like a points base plate type of electronic ignition conversion kit but is missing a rotor mounted device

Yes it needs the reluctor (4 sided pointy bit on the stator)

I picked up one of these for my car but it was too tall for the later model dizzy.

bit curious as to why they don't just supply reluctor and call it a conversion kit then , must be spares for the older stuff.
