Forester seats in L series

Post by 95Liberty » Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:09 pm

I've recently acquired a set of 98 Forester seats and am hoping to put them in my L series. Does any one know weather that is possible or how to do it.I,ve noticed the forester seat rails are slightly longer , but appear to be the same width. Is it possible to put L series seat rails on the forester seats? and does any one know the legal issues in doing that.

Wouldn't think there would be legalities involved, but I might be wrong on that... You gotta research through the regulations defined by the local traffic authority.

Is it possible? Sure thing! Where there's a will, there's a way! Have a look at El_Freddo's build thread on Ruby Scoo. He's done just that, I believe.

have a look at some brumby and other l series threads it has been done. i belive its done by mounting the l series rails onto the seats and then a adapter plate from the rails to the floor to allow the holes to match up
