VL pump worked great is my old sedan. think they are B911s. see also injected camira for the pump. you will need to rejig the plate and youwill alos need a 90 deg bend.

Never heard the VL pump being referred to as the 911.
I've always known it as an 0580464070, or the 070 for short. Everyone always calls it the VL turbo pump too - I'm guilty of this. It is the recommended aftermarket replacement for the VL turbo, but it's also the replacement for the standard VL and also the XF EFI wagon!
Bosch 044 is far too much pump for a stock WRX motor, really only use if going to bigger injectors (ie bigger than 440's).
No idea about the Camira pump though - would that flow enough for an EJ20 turbo?
EDIT: Just whipped out the trusty Bosch Motorsport catalogue (I have many catalogues

) and the 911 is a pretty average little pump. Flows 95 litres per hour at 4 bar pressure, compared with the 070 VL pump pushing 130 litres per hour at 3 bar. The 911 also has a larger inlet connector, 15mm instead of 12mm.

excelent thanks guys
what about the 040 or the 910 does any one have any opinions on them or should i just go for the 911 or the 044.
One day i might put in some bigger injectors so that is also on the table
so i guess 044 is probably a better choice
044 (around $240-260)
330 litres per hour and supports 730 bhp at 73.5 PSI
911 (around $180)
130 litres per hour (3Bar)
looks like you pretty much get what you pay for

The 070 is the one that flows 130lph at 3 bar, not the 911.
The 040 is an open base pump, meaning you can really only use it in-tank, whereas the others are inline pumps.
$240 is a damn good price for an 044 too, where did you get quoted that?

I got an inline Walbro 255lph high-pressure pump at ebay for just over $100 (US) and I'm happy...

You should be fine, but an upgrade to bigger injectors will mean an aftermarket regulator and possibly upgraded rails (to stop cylinder 3 leaning out).
