ej25 into a 1990 Liberty gx

Post by edakreklaw » Fri Aug 17, 2012 4:43 pm

So here's the deal ,
Ive bought a 1990 liberty gx constant 4wd for $300 & a ej25 dohc for $200 (with a blown headgasket) out of a 97 liberty.Throwing up some idea's on what would be the best combination.

Considering sticking in the ej25 block with the ej22 sohc heads & runnning the 22 inlet manifold etc for a high compression NA

and then building up the ej22 with ej25 dohc heads in my 90 l series touring wagon any boosting it !

Any thought's , idea's , problems etc

Cheers

the only problems I can think of are the differences in head gaskets between EJ22s and EJ25s, and the problem of the computer you will use to "boost" the EJ22.
