steering wheel adapter

I have a 91 brumby and wanted to run a sports steering wheel as my wheel is pretty crappy
I ordered a hub adapter off fleabay but it does not fit.
Is there an adapter off a later model Subie that I am looking for
Maybe a Forester adapter or the like
I definitely cannot find an adapter for 91 Brumby on line
any help would be appreciated.
