Wot am I ? Pre EJ stuff
Am posted in conversions, so not standard part
am 380mm long from extreme tip to tip
also got some brothers at 405mm for same application, different vehicle, just a bit more room to move sort of thing.
So, if you make same from 380 to 405mm should be OK

Well the only thing I can think of then is the hoses in the rear end from the body to the trailing arms, but they sure aren't as long as 400mm...maybe these are bypassing the trailing arm-hard line altogether and going straight to the wheel?
Will it ever end!?

BINGO ! Just you forgot to add that it is for L Series disc rears ...but you knew that coz this is in the conversions thread, right ? The L rear caliper rubber hose, coupled to the contorted MY former rear drum pipe that then joins halfway along the swing arm - thought it could look better - quite some time ago. Had the wheel off, looked , thought and acted.
Got a prototype made up, back to ute, fit , bend, fit - the pipe end is 60mm of pipe, and allows for a thumb bend only once the caliper end is fitted up tight. Do a thumb bend at any other time and you risk it looking like crap and needing rebend.
It may also be possible to do a 25mm bit of pipe and need no bend - letting hose get the kink to miss the swing arm.
Yet to fit up the pair and bleed
